This policy explains what information Paradise Paddle Cayman collects through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to us at ParadisePaddleCayman@gmail.com, +1 345 526 1111 (Cayman) or +1 424 781 0925 (US).
Who we are
Paradise Paddle Cayman rents paddleboards, kayaks and beach equipment on Seven Mile Beach, 1956 W Bay Rd, West Bay, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. We are responsible for the information described in this policy.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us:
- Booking and contact form: your name, email address, phone number, condo or hotel and unit number, the equipment you choose, the date, time and length of your rental, fin and vest sizes, any promo code, and anything you write in the message box.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Email: the messages you exchange with us, including replies to our booking emails.
We do not take card or bank details through this website. Payment is arranged with you directly when we confirm your booking.
How we use it
- To answer your questions, confirm your booking and arrange payment.
- To deliver the equipment to the right place at the right time and collect it afterwards.
- To keep a record of each booking and the conversation about it, so anyone on our team can help you.
- If you signed up for it, to send you news and offers. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not allow third-party advertising companies to collect information on this website.
Where it is kept
When you send the form, your booking is stored in this website’s database and emailed to our business Gmail account, and you receive a copy by email. Emails between us are sent and stored through Gmail, a service of Google. Only our staff can sign in to see bookings.
How this website uses Google user data
This website’s booking inbox is connected, with our permission, to our own business Gmail account through Google’s Gmail API. It uses that access for one purpose: to bring guests’ replies about their bookings back into the booking they belong to, so the whole conversation is in one place.
- It looks at new messages in our inbox, and at messages exchanged with guests who have booked with us, to recognise replies to a booking.
- When a message is a reply to a booking, the text of that reply is saved with the booking in this website, and the message is marked as read in Gmail.
- Messages that are not about a booking are left in Gmail untouched and are not saved, apart from the sender, subject and date, which staff see in a short list of recent unfiled mail.
- It never deletes email, never sends email on its own, and never shares the contents of our mailbox with anyone.
- Gmail data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The account owner can remove this website’s access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Cookies
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Apart from the Google services listed above, the only cookies it sets are for our staff when they sign in to manage the website. This website does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, because it does not track you.
How long we keep it
We keep booking information and our conversations for as long as we need them to provide the rental and to keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will, unless we are required to keep it by law.
Your rights
Under the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us to stop using it for marketing.
